In contemporary literature and research, the future of our planet is one of the most popular topics worldwide. Without a doubt, innovative and flexible solutions are required to handle the future of our global energy system and material flows. Energy aggregators, electrification of mobility, integration of batteries at various system levels, climate risk assessments, hydrogen and other topics are examples of subjects that play an important role in the energy transition and sustainability in the broader sense. Accenture operates at the frontline of these developments, combining new technologies (e.g. artificial intelligence, machine learning or blockchain) with our deep understanding of the energy system.
Within Utilities we work with our clients to define their strategy, optimize their capabilities such as asset management, operations and organizational development. We also support them with digitization and help them to be successful in accelerating the energy transition.
Our mission is to provide data-driven intelligence to support the energy transition. To support this mission, we are looking for an Energy Modeling Intern, who has interest in electricity power markets, virtual power plants and transmission system operation mechanisms (i.e. ancillary services). The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, intellectually stimulating, and demanding supportive environment.
You will contribute to our energy modeling efforts by developing analytical and computational tools.
