Our Accenture Financial Services Client Group in the Netherlands has an exciting vacancy for a sales manager within our Financial Services (Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance & FinTech) team. Our team is welcoming an ambitious professional who wants to drive the go-2-market propositions towards our Financial Services clients, our marketing agenda and supports throughout the full sales cycle. The ideal candidate would have a flair for developing propositions & relationships, work closely with our Financial Services client teams and work with new and/or existing client stakeholders.

Your Job

As a sales manager, you will be having an innovative role to help support our Financial Services client account teams with developing & optimizing propositions. You will also be responsible to support new business opportunities for our Financial Services clients within the Netherlands throughout the full business development cycle. You will build relationships within Accenture and with our Financial Services clients to be able to bring the best of Accenture to address our clients’ needs/challenges in the digital era.

You will take the lead in shaping client specific value propositions and craft proposals to help our Financial Services clients become even more successful. You will do this by working collaboratively with our Insurance clients and internal Accenture teams.

Next to that you will also be working with our clients to help organizing our ecosystem activities (marketing events, round tables etc.)

In summary:

  • Your role will be focused on building long term and trust-based relationships with Financial Services clients as well as within Accenture (key stakeholders and colleagues);

  • You will be collaborating with teams across Accenture to create a compelling proposition for our Insurance clients;

  • You have strong communication skills, proactive / ‘can-do’ mentality and a demonstrated ability to engage with various client stakeholders;

  • You have to feel confident in working in a challenging and dynamic environment.

You will be joining our Financial Services Client Group team within the Netherlands. To manage disruption and create new value in a rapidly changing world, financial institutions need to change in order to become more innovative, agile and human. We help them do this.

Our Financial Service Client Group team in the Netherlands has long-standing business relationships with our clients within the Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance industry.

Positioned at the crucial intersection of business, technology and industry, we devise creative new strategies based on trends, insights and data. With an eye for competitive advantage, digital disruption, operating models and the future workforce, we take on the challenge of designing and implementing trans formative business solutions, using the newest technology.

We leverage design thinking, industry insights and the latest digital and Security methodologies to help our Insurance clients innovate, grow and improve their businesses. Our expertise, capabilities and experience mean that our clients (including some of the biggest brands in the world) trust us to find the right solutions for their needs.

Your background

  • Completed University Master’s degree;

  • Minimum of 5-7 years work experience within a Financial Services industry specific environment, including project management experience and / or consultancy

  • Fluency in Dutch and English

  • Track record as a human centered -, insight driven- and iterative problem-solver
