Your impact

As a Product Information Management (PIM) Consultant, you work in highly collaborative mode with the client, Partners and the Accenture teams to capture and document business requirements, define product structures and functional designs in areas of PIM initiatives. You understand that product data is vital in the customers journey and therefore the role is more as Product eXperience Management (PXM) consultant.

You are the linking pin between the client and development teams, and in certain cases act as a Product Owner or shadow Product Owner on behalf of the client. And based on your experience, you can take the delivery lead role and be responsible for the project management in our projects.

Your Job

The Product Information Management (PIM) Specialist will work as part of a team responsible for driving a structured approach to the collection, maintenance, and syndication of master product data through PIM system. This position will ensure that the platform is configured in accordance with defined data governance, and that product data integrity is maintained.

  • You collaborate regularly with business stakeholders, including merchandising, marketing, ecommerce, and other cross-functional teams to establish and support data collection, maintenance and syndication.

  • You review, standardize and identify gaps in product information and processes. Coordinate activities to address issues with stakeholders across the organization.

  • You lead initiatives to onboard product content into the PIM.

  • You create, review, and approve product master change requests to ensure accuracy and consistency of data attributes.

  • You manage the integration of PIM with other internal and external systems for improved processes and efficiencies.

  • You oversee reporting related to master data management and coordinate actions to resolve issues.

  • You act as an advisor and propose alternatives that provide more or similar business value to less costs.

  • You act as the linking pin on a day-to-day basis with the client’s Product Owner, the User Experience specialists, and the technical development team.

  • You collaborate with the Testing team to prepare for the end-to-end tests.

  • You support and train business users in working with the PIM platform and data guidelines.

  • Identify and report opportunities to gain efficiencies, automate, and improve data quality.

Your background 

  • Excellent communication skills, structured, strong analytical and results-oriented mindset.

  • 3-5+ years of PIM experience, software consulting type role.

  • Hands on experience working with MDM/PIM systems, such as Stibo Systems, Informatica, Salsify, inRiver, etc.

  • Familiarity with database design and taxonomies.

  • BI experience preferred, such as DOMO, Tableau, etc.

  • Advanced understanding of standards and practices around data workflow and content management.

  • Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Strong query and computing skills with relational databases (SQL, Access, Excel).

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to be agile in supporting business partners
