As a Marketplace Consultant, you work in highly collaborative mode with the client, partners, and Accenture teams to unlock the value of marketplace initiatives for our clients. Supporting in the sales process to help clients creating an efficient Marketplace. During delivery, you are the linking pin between the client and development teams, and in certain cases, act as a Product Owner or shadow Product Owner on behalf of the client. Based on your experience, you can take the delivery lead role and be responsible for the project management in our projects.
You play a pivotal role in helping our customers to achieve success in executing and developing market places initiatives. You will advise on opportunities designed to meet and exceed the needs of the customer and the Marketplace E-Commerce revenue goals. The key roles you will play are (lead) Consultant, Sales, (proxy) Product Owner or Project Manager.
You can advise and guide clients in developing and executing marketplace initiatives. Being able to sell, convince and explain marketplace initiatives to c-level clients.
Familiar with concepts such as operators, sellers, GMV and Commission models.
In early stages of a transformation, you will prepare and recommend customers in areas where they can grow their online sales and help in prioritising customers in key focus areas and the roadmap.
During implementation you take ownership of the marketplace, ensuring planning is met, risk & issues are mitigated, a sound solution and high client satisfaction.
You help capture business requirements in the form of epics, features and user stories, and make sure the acceptance criteria for the user stories are clear.
You act as the linking pin on a day-to-day basis with the client’s Product Owner, the User Experience specialists, and the technical development team.

Experience with implementing, operating, rolling out of marketplaces using Mirakl or Izberg.
Excellent communication skills, structured, strong analytical and results-oriented mindset.
3+ years of E-commerce experience, preferability in consulting type role.
Strong project management skills.
Specific knowledge in marketplace business models is a plus.
Fluent in English (verbal and written communication), Dutch speaking strong pre.
