This is you
You are proactive, entrepreneurial, and service-oriented.
You are a motivated and driven person.
You have an insatiable curiosity for new tech inventions.
Cutting-edge is your comfort zone.
As Junior Java developer, you will be part of the Accenture Liquid Studio, the innovation hub within Accenture. Together with other experts in the Liquid Studio, you will work on complex assignments for F500 clients throughout the Netherlands and abroad. The assignments vary per client, but often have the goal of creating a sustainable future for future generations.
You will work for our clients on a project basis. This can be on-site or remote, depending on your preferences and the client's wishes. Together with your client, you will design and build high-quality customised software solutions. The activities vary and depend on your interests and expertise. Examples include redesigning systems, expanding applications with new functionality and setting up pre-completion processes. In all projects, your own insight and your visions are greatly encouraged and valued, so you can really make a difference!
At Accenture, personal development and continuous learning are highly valued, which means you will have a training budget available that you can use for training you find interesting! Accenture is also a (premium) partner of many technology providers including Oracle, Splunk and all major cloud providers, which gives you the opportunity to obtain various certifications!
Our colleagues in the Technology service group help large and small clients with the strategic blueprint of IT transformations. Which cloud platform best suits the situation of customer X? What are the security risks of this supplier's IT upscaling? How do we implement Agile working within this organisation and how do we build a new app from design thinking workshops?
Based on the roadmaps of the customer, you will work with a team of international professionals to build customised software and solutions, whether or not in combination with the application of smart technology such as robotics or artificial intelligence. Together we build a bridge between the needs of companies and the latest technological innovations.
- You have a (nearly) completed Bachelor and/or Master degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- You have a passion for programming and technology, you are inquisitive and motivated
- You have affinity with Java and/or other programming languages
- You are familiar with concepts in the area of software development
- You have a good command of the English and Dutch languages, orally and in writing
