Your impact

The Refugee Talent Hub is an initiative from the business community in the Netherlands. During the refugee crisis, the concept of the Refugee Talent Hub was presented in January 2016 at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. The main idea behind the Refugee Talent Hub is creating a hub / network that is focused on: connecting refugees to (Dutch) organizations. There is shortage on the Dutch labor market, and unused potential and talent of refugees. Companies have an important role in minimizing this gap. Herewith, the Refugee Talent Hub wants to bridge the gap between organizations and refugees. The foundation has a large network of partners from both the public as well as the private sectors (Accenture, Arcadis, Essent, KPMG, Microsoft, Ministry of the Internal Affairs, Rabobank etc.) and has a national database of talented refugees who are willing to enter the Dutch Labor market.

A solution to bridging the gap between organizations and refugee talent is having a network. Therefore, the Refugee Talent Hub organizes Meet & Greets, recruitment days and specific trainings at the employer’s office. In cooperation with partners, the Refugee Talent Hub also offers work experience programs in which refugee talents get a first taste in working for a Dutch organization. For example, fifteen refugee talents followed an IT program at Microsoft and eleven Refugee Talents started a work experience program at Arcadis. Step-by-step, the Refugee Talent Hub wants to achieve sustainable integration of refugees through labor participation.
Working at the Refugee Talent HubYou work in a small team of motivated Refugee Talent Hub employees and consultants from Accenture. You will meet a variety of (large) companies and of course many talented refugees. Since the organization is relatively small, your contribution is immediately visible, and you will be responsible for your own work. For example, you can: organize a Refugee Talent Hub-event with one of the partners, roll out external communication etc. You will manage your own accounts and develop your project management and stakeholder management skills. Also, there is plenty of room to express your opinions and sharing new ideas.

Your Background
Working at the Refugee Talent Hub means that you need to be an allrounder, organized and should have affinity with the refugee topic.
● Dutch is a must
● A second language is a pré
● Open for any educational level from HBO to university level (bachelor and master)
● Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
● Project management skills
