What is the Blue Tulip Awards?
The Blue Tulip Awards is a year-round ecosystem-driven program aiming to accelerate innovators, build powerful collaborations, and drive breakthrough innovation. The Blue Tulip Awards team consists of a Central Team and 8 Theme Teams (divided in three generations). The Central Team Interns are responsible for program management, partnerships, scouting, event management and marketing & communications. The Theme Interns are responsible for defining the theme strategy and executing the theme specific tasks, such as innovation scouting and guiding the theme’s jury process. Together you will work towards one goal: the biggest innovation program of the Netherlands.
During your internship, you will gain and develop the abilities needed to fulfill the position of event coordinator of the Blue Tulip Awards program. Being in contact with different stakeholders will be the key to influence the communication and information processes in the events organization. Your job responsibilities will be specifically connected to facilitation, planning, managing and executing the Blue Tulip Awards events. This position comprises aspects such as concept development and hands-on experience of event organization. Tasks such as production preparations, programming, and leading a team will be central facets of the internship. Also, you will receive a unique opportunity for all-round development as an independent professional by taking full responsibility for side events and other projects. We are looking for an intern starting the first of August, for a period of 5-6 months and 32-40 hours a week. Are you the perfect candidate?
Within the Central Team you will work on the overall organization of the Blue Tulip Awards. Under the supervision of the event manager, you will execute events from A to Z together with your events team. This includes jury events, events for partners and participants, and ultimately of course, the Finals.
Are you looking for a challenging event management internship, do you have a ‘hands-on mentality’, and are you flexible, stress-resistant and self-reliant? But most importantly, are you excited to play a key role in the organization of the yearly Blue Tulip Awards and its many side events? Then we are looking for you!
