One of the current challenges within large organizations is not the decision whether to move to Cloud, but when. Moving to the Cloud can be complex and introduces questions as: how to best execute at scale? And more important: understanding what strategic (business) value Cloud can bring to an organization beyond the promised savings on infrastructure costs.
During your (thesis)internship you will collect current available benchmark numbers, literature and studies on the various value levers (for instance productivity increase of development teams due to DevOps enablement, or market share growth due to dramatic decrease in time-to-market of new services). You will construct a financial model to apply these value levers on existing companies – including clear overview of required input (e.g. key KPIs of the organization). Moreover, you will help to implement the model in a practical tool and help to validate the model through multiple organizations across different industries.
