As lead data science & analytics you drive impactful and innovative solutions by leveraging state of the art machine learning and statistical models to come up with data driven concepts and implementation. You will be driving and supporting the team to be successful on an individual and commercial level. You will be working with C-level executives, digital marketers, solution architects and data scientists to architect at the intersection between data science, analytics and martech. 


The work

Here's a snapshot of your responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver the long term and short term vision of the data science & analytics practice 

  • Provide a tactic and strategic vision on data science to transform data to insights for business development, strategies or optimization approaches

  • Ideate & translate analytical frameworks, guidelines and standards into operational applications.

  • Ensure overall success of data science and analytical implementations, focusing on the client relationship, financials, project delivery, resourcing, and overall program health

  • Contribute to capability building by gaining and sharing of knowledge and skills with different data science & analytics related topics and platforms

  • Maintain good relationships with clients, vendors and partners

  • Support business development and other ad-hoc requests

  • Mentor, motivate and coach a team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers

Here's what you'll need

  • 7+ years experience as a data scientist working on applying data science fundamentals to solve complex real world problems, preferably in consultancy or agency with regional exposure. 3+ of these years in a leading and/or mentoring position

  • Solid experience in multi-channel analytics

  • Hands-on experience with data architectures, GCP / MS / Tealium / SF solutions to develop required data pipelines and infrastructures.

  • Experience (applied) and theoretical knowledge of a wide variety of machine learning and statistical methods.Strong coding skills in Phyton and SQL are a must have.

  • You're analytical, logical and patient.

  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and with the ability to interact with different levels of end users and technical resources

  • Able to work both independently and as a lead of a cross-functional team with strong sense of ownership

  • You're based in the Netherlands.
