Developer Internship – Liquid Studio

We are looking for a mobile developer intern to help develop in-house apps to support daily tasks. Your internship project consists of implementing an app for both iOS and Android. We want someone able to think outside of the box to come up with new ideas for an immersive experience for our users. You’ll have a lot of freedom and will be able to explore and grow your skills.
You will implement an iOS and Android app, while being responsible for writing the tests (Unit, UI, etc.). These apps must be connected to existing systems, for which you can explore API endpoints. For the effectiveness of these apps, you will communicate constructively with team members to cooperatively build a product suite that delights costumers. Added to this you will contribute to decisions about system architecture and the selection of technical tools. Lastly you will troubleshoot issues as they arise and resolve technical challenges. Understanding business concerns and contributing to brainstorm sessions with pragmatic options will incorporate this.
We are looking for a Node.js developer intern familiar with AWS platform. Your internship project consists of implementing a booking system following guidelines from our UX/UI designers. We want someone able to think outside of the box to come up with new ideas for a seamless experience for our users. You’ll have a lot of freedom and will be able to explore, use and grow your skills.
You will implement the front-end domain of the system including test cases and integrate this with the back-end. For user’s requests you will provide best development practices for creating a fast-responsive portal. With team members you will constructively communicate to build a product suite that delights customers. Added to this you will contribute to decisions about system architecture and the selection of technical tools. Lastly you will troubleshoot issues as they arise and resolve technical challenges. Understanding business concerns and contributing to brainstorm sessions with pragmatic options will incorporate this.
We are looking for a creative and open-minded Unity developer for an extended-reality project. Your internship project will consist of developing an interactive AR mobile app, following guidelines from our UX/UI designers.
You will develop Unity based 3D experiences for both Android and iOS.Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Added to this, you will ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. To establish an effective pipeline, you can work with 3d modeling and design experts. You will create rapid prototypes of concepts and new features. For product optimization you are going to work with QA and user tesing, while documenting code bas. Lastly, you will identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems.
Liquid Studio is looking for a creative and talented 3D modeler for an extended-reality project. The internship project will consist of developing an interactive AR mobile app, following guidelines from our UX/UI designers.
Your will produce images and animations content with coherent graphical artwork, while creating complex low and high-resolution 3D models and textures. From scratch you will design and model high-detail props and assets, combining 2D and 3D techniques as required, including shading/lighting/texturing. Added to this, you are going to build custom UI elements that push the limits of our user experience. Lastly you will produce CGI sequences animations (Modelling-shading-rendering-compositing).

- Bachelor or Master student in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related studies
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Available for 4-6 months full time
- Able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Flexible attitude, ability to adapt to quickly changing circumstances and work priorities in a timely manner.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skill
Required and preferred programming languages
- A solid foundation in software programming
- Mobile: Mobile development experience (XCode, Android Studio, Swift/Objective-C, Kotlin/Java, React Native, Nativescript, Flutter, Cordova/PhoneGap)
- Node.js: Web development experience (NodeJS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS3, JSON, jQuery)
- Unity: Experienced as a Unity developer programming in C# (C and C++ are an advantage).
- 3D: Experience in creating 3D content for various devices and contexts (phones, tablets, VR, AR).
