Are you interested in how data flows through an organization and how it is governed to generate knowledge and value? If your answer is “yes” to all these questions, we would love to meet with you!

Your Job

As a Data Science Consultant, you will be joining in our Applied Intelligence team, which is part of the Strategy & Consulting practice of Accenture. You will work directly with our clients in the Netherlands and sometimes also abroad on new problem-solving solutions and methodologies; data modelling, analyses & interpretation. You apply the latest algorithms and techniques like deep learning and other machine learning techniques to create client value for the client through insight generation and predictions – then turn these insights into action (e.g. build a recommender system leading to higher customer loyalty, predicting risk on individual level to better comply with rules and regulations, create an NLP solution including sentiment analysis to increase efficiency). You have strong technical skills and are also able to facilitate workshops/interviews to bridge the gap between data analytics and business outcomes. You provide advice to clients by translating analytical solutions into recommendations. You help to achieve strategic goals and impact business results.

In your day-to-day work you will:

  • Creating Proof-of-Concepts to showcase data science solutions
  • Apply a wide range of data science techniques
  • Visualize your outcomes to help with decision making
  • Using cloud technologies to deliver models that are ready for production
  • Partnering with our clients to find the best data solutions
  • Building long-term relationships with key stakeholders

As a consultant within Accenture S&C, you will have the chance of leveraging the power of a large network of professionals, sharing industry and functional knowledge to bring more value to our clients. Every day, S&C consultants support businesses in their transformation journeys using deep industry insights, knowledge, and innovative ideas. Positioned at the crucial intersection of business and technology, we devise creative new strategies based on trends, insights, and data.

Our advice based on best practice and situational analyses enable our clients to act with speed and confidence. Whether we are investigating complex issues or identifying new opportunities, our work always comes down to one thing: unlocking value and creating real, tangible impact.

Your Background

  • Between 2 and 5 years of professional experience in analyzing data through statistical modelling and machine learning to tackle business questions.
