The Commercial PMO (CPMO) function housed under Accenture Operations was established in early 2022.  The CPMO Team is a global team within Accenture Operations with global centers in India, Philippines and Argentina, regional centers in Latvia, Mexico, China and teams in other locations including the Netherlands. The function provides support to Client Account Teams on commercial and financial support such as billing, account planning, roster management, client data protection and other activities.

The CPMO function leverages the intelligent operations transformation approach powered by SynOps – resulting in improved customer experience, consistent scope, driving best practice, automation and eliminating redundant / duplicate activity.

Your Job

The CPMO Manager will have a dual role as follows:

be responsible for leading and managing a team of CPMO professionals in the Netherlands across 2 locations (Heerlen and Utrecht) who are providing CPMO support to client project teams provide CPMO support to more complex accounts/portfolios (delivery support).

As Team Lead, you will act as the main point of contact/escalation between the client project team(s) and the CPMO teams when needed.

You will be responsible for managing the incoming demand in NL and identifying where the support is to be provided locally, by the regional location (Mauritius) or global centres (India or Philippines) using the location strategy principles of the global CPMO function. 

You will ensure engagements are in compliance with CPMO scope delivery and quality management standards, will drive process improvements and will oversee the proper use and training in Accenture Operations CPMO standard methodologies, methods, framework, automations, assets, processes, best practices and tools.

The CPMO Manager will also provide CPMO support to complex accounts/portfolios and will direct/support the onshore/offshore teams as required.

The role will work with other account support teams (e.g. Client Financial Management, Contract Management, Human Resources) within NL and be the representative of the CPMO global capability across the Future Enterprise functions. You will support and work directly with the CPMO NL Locations Leads and will report to the Europe CPMO Lead.

Your Team

By working closely together with an international team of professional, specialized in improving client efficiency, you will find new solutions achieving peak operational performance.

Your Background

  • Minimum of 5 years of CPMO experience, ideally having medium to high exposure to complex accounts (including project planning, management, reporting, communications, issue resolution

  • Strong project management skills at least +5 years of experience

  • Strong people management/leading skills at least +5 years of experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience

  • Dutch and English language is mandatory

Key Responsibilities are:

  • Lead the dual location teams in NL and ensure the teams are fully supported whilst partnering with the NL Location Leads. Team Engagement and management of attrition

  • Responsible for the implementation and execution of CPMO policies, procedures and standards to ensure smooth and controlled management of accounts and delivery of services. Ensure compliance with CPMO standards, tools methods, assets, framework, practices

  • Contribute to and/or provide detailed metrics and reporting as requested to report on the status of the NL support function. This may include but is not limited to financial analyses, process compliance, staffing analyses, internal controls compliance and others.

  • Responsible for chargeability and allocation of CPMO resources. Track CPMO service Demand and candidates available (Bench, Overdue)

  • FY Planning and forecasting and managing budgets (headcount etc) and support CPMO scoping/size estimations

  • Leads CPMO resources in delivering CPMO support involving (but not limited to) Account Planning, Pipeline & BD reporting, RORO / Roster reporting, QA & CSS reporting, Communications & Governance Management support, Training support, Demand & supply management; Financial Administration and Account Receivables, Invoice generation and tracking, Cost and expense tracking and reporting, reconciliation; project financial/ profitability reporting and analysis, MME forecasting support; Variance analysis, Time tracking and reconciliation, Work Order / Pipeline Management/ Sales support, Contract archiving (MMR), Client Data Protection support

  • At times, provide project support services where accounts require ‘white glove’ support

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience of working with and co-ordinating with remote teams essential and managing and developing the performance of teams

  • Strong business writing skills, excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to demonstrate a proactive/ can do style of work 

  • Comprehensive experience in CPMO. Experience in some/all of the following management areas:

    • Project Integration Management / Governance

    • Financial Management Skills

    • Resource management

    • Demand management

    • Communications Management

    • Cost and schedule management

    • Performance reporting (status & metrics)

    • Quality management

    • Issue & risk management

    • Transition
