Your job

The Corporate Development & Transaction Services department in Amsterdam is looking for new talents to strengthen the team in providing analytical support for large, complex Outsourcing and Consulting transactions.

You’ll participate in crucial business decisions, working closely with our managing directors and client and partner organizations. The Corporate Development & Transaction Services team operates right at the forefront of business development, working directly with our client facing organization for the various industries and disciplines, to cost, price and shape big and/or complex engagements, and work on building new businesses such as joint ventures and operating companies, alliances and equity investment transactions.

You act as the trusted advisor for your stakeholders and help them with any difficulties or problems they might encounter. You participate in regular meetings with different stakeholders, clients and key users, where the status, dilemmas and solutions are to be discussed. You listen to your clients’ needs; they listen to your suggestions.

Your team

You will be part of the Global Corporate Development & Transaction Services (CDTS) team, which is part of the Corporate Finance segment within corporate functions of Accenture.

At Accenture Corporate Functions, we do whatever it takes to make Accenture a success - every day. We are the pieces that hold it all together: organizing collaborations, monitoring and optimizing our activities and results, keeping everyone happy and motivated – and that’s just the beginning.

Working alongside HR, Finance, Geographic services, Marcom, Legal, and Information Management teams, you will find exciting opportunities to make your mark (and a measurable difference, too). We use modern tools, innovative approaches and our knowledge of best practice to ensure everything is running smoothly. It can be challenging to meet all the needs of our big-name clients and partners, as well as our colleagues - but it's worth it when you see what we achieve together.

Your background

  • You have successfully obtained a relevant Bachelor or Master degree, preferred in Accounting or Finance;
  • Minimal 2 years of relevant experience operating in a financial role, preferably in a client facing role;
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) in English and at least one other language (preferably Dutch);
  • The ability to create a strong cooperation with internal and external stakeholders;
  • A high level of independency and drive;
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills;
  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.

Our offer

Accenture is an incredible place to work - and keep learning. By joining us, you’ll become part of a global company with a world-class brand and reputation. Besides the work we do for our clients, we’re really proud of our vibrant, diverse workplace culture: we believe in openness and honesty, fairness and equality, common sense and realism. We want to get to know the real you and help you explore and grow - whatever it is you're great at. So you will always have lots of learning opportunities (formal and informal) to improve your role-specific skills and expertise.

Besides our high-profile, challenging projects and our nurturing work environment, we offer excellent employee benefits, including:

  • A flexible transport arrangement that suits your personal situation
  • An expense allowance
  • Discount on Accenture shares
  • The possibility to work 4 x 9 hours a week
