Your job 

As an Agile Scrum Master, you are responsible for mentoring high performing Scrum Teams across distributed locations. It is all about coaching your team and bringing value to the client in the most effective and efficient way. As a Scrum Master, you will help the team by bringing in your broad knowledge about Agile techniques, frameworks & practices, and will apply them whenever you think they are beneficial to accomplish the objective. To become our new Agile Scrum Master, you are skilled in:

  • Understanding an organisation’s specific business and technical processes in both IT and non-IT domains

  • Facilitating Scrum and Agile ceremonies (e.g. Daily Stand Up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives)

  • Aligning Sprint deliverables to a managed and prioritised backlog

  • Identifying and reporting progress to management via appropriate metrics

  • Stakeholder management and building successful relationships with Product Owners, Stakeholders and Delivery Leads to deliver valuable increments;

  • Using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)

  • Scaled Agile Methodologies (SAFe, Nexus, LeSS or similar)

  • Working within both Waterfall and Agile environments

Your background  
  • You have a master’s degree;

  • You have 1 – 3 years professional experience as a Scrum Master;

  • You have deep understanding of the Scrum Framework along with other methods and models;

  • Your are certified as Scrum Master in relevant Agile frameworks (e.g. PSM1, SAFe 5.0 Scrum Master);

  • You are an excellent motivator, facilitator and communicator;

  • You are highly proficient in spoken and written the English and Dutch language;

  • Preferably some experience with Agile tooling (e.g. Jira, TargetProcess).
